Our specialists in the business unit Financing, Securities & Insolvency have extensive experience in assisting companies that are, or are about to be, in financial distress. The court regularly appoints our lawyers as liquidator in bankruptcies and as administrators in (temporary) suspensions of payment.

Our lawyers are aware of the possible pitfalls in an insolvency situation, and they can anticipate the consequences of an (imminent) bankruptcy. They proactively assist entrepreneurs, directors and supervisory directors and they have in depth knowledge of business operations.

Because of the broad experience the team has built up in handling bankruptcies, they know how to find opportunities in an insolvency situation. They will do everything in their power to prevent a bankruptcy, or they will limit the risks as much as possible in the case of an impending bankruptcy. Our lawyers are specialized in the Dutch Act on the Confirmation of Private Restructuring Plans (ACPRP, or WHOA in Dutch), which enables companies to restructure debts by means of a private restructuring plan.
