Workshops:
Within Holla, we organize periodic employee workshops for all levels within our office to promote an open and safe working environment.

Norms and Values:
We uphold and respect the rights of our lawyers, staff, contractors, interns, and suppliers. We ensure that everyone works in an environment free from harassment, sexual, physical, or verbal violence, mental or physical coercion. In the hiring, promotion, training, or other treatment of staff, we do not engage in any form of discrimination.

Open Communication:
All employees can openly communicate with management about working conditions without fear of reprisal or intimidation.

CO₂ Footprint: Net Zero
Over the past few years, we have consistently worked to reduce our carbon footprint. In 2021, our carbon footprint was measured, and we can proudly say that we have achieved - and maintained - Net Zero status (scope 1-3).

ISO Certifications
We are proud to have achieved both ISO 14001 (environmental management system) and ISO 9001 (quality management system) certifications, internationally accepted standards with requirements for environmental and quality management systems developed by the International Organization for Standardization.

Digitization
Within our Legal Sections and Financial Administration Department, we aim for fully digital files. Over 95% of our HR and financial administration files are already digitized, and we expect to reach 100% soon.

Offices
Continuous steps are being taken towards a sustainable operation, including the use of solar panels and recycling our waste. Additionally, our office buildings have an A+++ rating, and our gas and electricity consumption is fully based on sustainable energy.

Suppliers
We prefer to work with suppliers and service providers whose services have a demonstrably minimal impact on the environment. This conscious choice contributes to achieving our carbon-neutral status.

Protectors Foundation National Monument Camp Vught
With resistance fighter Mr. Harry Holla as our namesake, we feel a close connection to the National Monument Camp Vught. This foundation aims to make a meaningful contribution to moral consciousness in society by keeping alive the memory of the Vught concentration camp and the experiences of those who were connected to this place (even after the war).

War Child
With Harry Holla in mind, we hold freedom, democracy, and the protection of human rights in high regard. That's why we are a business friend of War Child. This organization works worldwide for millions of children growing up in war and violence. Through a combination of psychosocial support, protection, and education, War Child works with them towards a peaceful future.

Ronald McDonald House
We support the Ronald McDonald House, a wonderful place where sick children can be close to their parents, siblings, and families. This helps them feel better, and parents can better manage the care. Because when your whole world is turned upside down by illness or care, being together as a family is the most important thing.

Social Return On Investment
From the perspective of Social Return On Investment, we allocate a portion of our contract amount with the Province of North Brabant to the employment of people with disadvantaged backgrounds. This is done through (financial) support for social services and initiatives.

TP Cubus and MConnect
TP CUBUS strives to strengthen the cultural and social infrastructure of the 's-Hertogenbosch region. M-Connect, on the other hand, aims to invest in the top of the music segment and emerging talents, creators, and communities to stimulate the creative potential of the Eindhoven region. Holla warmly supports both initiatives.

European Para Championships
As an official supplier of the European Para Championships (EPC), we provide legal advice to this unique multisport event taking place in the Netherlands in the summer of 2024. During this event, athletes have the opportunity to earn qualification points or qualify directly for the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024.

Special Olympics
We are proud partners of the Special Olympics National Games, the largest multisport event in the Netherlands for people with intellectual disabilities. This biennial event is organized under the supervision of Special Olympics Netherlands. The themes of talent, sports, and inclusivity align with Holla's core values.

At Holla, we believe it's important to give back to the community. Therefore, our lawyers and staff are encouraged to participate in pro bono work and community investments. Our pro bono office focuses on organizations working towards an inclusive society and equal opportunities for all. Organizations actively pursuing or supporting social interests. Additionally, we also provide assistance to businesses that lack the resources to obtain legal aid.
