Reinoud has been a lawyer for almost twenty years. He started working for Holla in 2004 and became a partner in 2006. Reinoud has been Holla’s CFO for several years. Reinoud is mainly active in the financing, securities & insolvency, banking & finance, sports law and company law sectors.

Reinoud is frequently appointed as the trustee or administrator in bankruptcies or suspension of payment, respectively. Additionally, he is involved in acquisitions, restructurings, financings, shareholder disputes, collateral enforcement and liability issues. Reinoud is known for his pragmatic and creative approach. He is solution-oriented, but is combative when the situation requires.


Reinoud’s clients and colleagues describe him as loyal, disciplined and easy to work with. He often quotes Goethe: ‘Wer lachen kann meistert das Leben’ (Whoever can laugh masters life).

Reinoud is registered in the Register of Legal Practice Areas of the Dutch Bar Association for the following main (and sub) legal areas: Insolvency law, Corporate law, Bankruptcy, Buspension of payments, Directors' liability, Companies. Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training points in each registered main legal area every calendar year, in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
