Agricultural sector

The Agricultural sector is all about food. This includes the production, marketing, and distribution of food products. The food sector is innovative and international and is constantly developing. And this is reflected in regulations in the market: the food sector is one of the most regulated sectors in the Netherlands. Regulation and legislation are important themes for any organisation, whether they are active in the processing industry, food retail or hospitality. Examples of important issues are employment law matters, including safety and hygiene regulations, and legal issues surrounding the construction or sale of a property, such as a supermarket, or zoning plans and environmental regulation.
