Holla advises AlphaTheta Corporation on its acquisition of 25% of the shares in DJ Monitor

Deal alert | Holla's corporate deal team has advised AlphaTheta Corporation on its acquisition of 25% of the shares in DJ Monitor. AlphaTheta produces and sells products from Pioneer DJ and its associated brands, including KUVO. KUVO is a service which aims to assist with a fairer distribution of royalties to rightholders of electronic music globally. AlphaTheta is looking for new ways to improve royalty distribution in the music industry. DJ Monitor is a global market leader in monitoring electronic music. DJ Monitor's services cover, among others, music festivals, streaming events, broadcasts and nightclubs. AlphaTheta and DJ Monitor will share technologies and work together to further improve royalty distribution in the music industry. AlphaTheta Corporation's investment in DJ Monitor is a step in the right direction for the music industry. Holla's deal team was led by corporate partner Robert van Muijen and further consisted of Alissa Van Tongerloo and Michelle van de Wert. The deal team worked closely with Haruka Murata from the Japanese law firm Miura & Partners, who is Japanese legal advisor for AlphaTheta on the above transaction.
