Robert Gebel
Robert joined Holla in 2015 as a partner in our Real Estate & Government practice group and has been Managing Partner since 1 May 2019. With more than 22 years of experience as a lawyer, he has built a strong track record in commercial real estate and civil construction law. Over the years, he has advised on a wide range of real estate projects, both in the Netherlands and abroad, including the construction of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg. His clients include project developers, housing corporations, investors, construction companies, and local as well as regional government bodies.
For Robert, the essence of his work lies in securing rock-solid deals. Colleagues describe him as a true dealmaker: result-oriented, pragmatic, and always mindful of the interests of all parties involved. While he strongly prefers to resolve disputes outside the courtroom, his extensive litigation experience ensures he can safeguard his clients’ interests in court whenever necessary.
Even outside his professional practice, Robert’s passion for real estate continues. Fascinated by architecture, he avidly follows developments in the field and reads widely about major building projects. He holds deep respect for the creativity and boldness behind iconic landmarks such as the Pantheon in Rome and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
