Jan van Heijningen
Jan has joined Holla in 1984 and has been a partner since 1991. He specialises in procurement law, government contracts, such as area development agreements, state liability – including administrative compensation – and the Freedom of Information Act (Dutch: Wob). He mainly advises authorities and companies on issues in the cross-over area between public and private law. Jan is a member of the Dutch Association for Procurement Law (NVvA).
Jan has affinity for and extensive experience with political-administrative relationships and sensitive management matters. He has a special connection with ‘s-Hertogenbosch, he was a member of the municipal council, where he acted as praesidium chairman and deputy chairman. Besides that, he has an active public life. Jan is secretary in the board of Brabant Heritage, member of the directors’ board of the Monument Watch and member of the supervisory board of Zuidelijk Toneel (theatre group South Netherlands).
