Rutger Willemsen

Rutger has been working at Holla legal & lax since 2025 as part of the Corporate Law team. Within this team, he focuses on Corporate and Commercial Litigation and Commercial Contracts, advising and assisting clients in both dispute resolution and non-contentious matters.

In carrying out these activities, Rutger works with a strong substantive drive and perseverance, with a keen awareness of the position of clients who rely on legally sound and strategic advice. During his earlier experience in legal practice, he discovered that he draws particular energy from analysing legally complex issues. His work at the Nijmegen-Oost Legal Advice Centre further taught him to consistently place the legal framework within the client’s concrete circumstances. Legal matters in which substantive depth and competing interests converge are therefore of particular interest to him.
