Ruben Krul
In September 2021, Ruben joined the Intellectual Property, ICT & Privacy team, where he primarily focuses on ICT and privacy law-related matters. This includes issues concerning the security of (personal) data, data breaches, (processor) agreements, partnerships, data exchanges, the exercise of data subject rights, and the use of (new) technologies. Recently, Ruben has also been increasingly involved in matters related to artificial intelligence.
Ruben completed a Bachelor's degree in Law and Economics and a Master's in International Political Economy at Radboud University, followed by a Master's in Intellectual Property, Innovation, and Technology at Utrecht University. During his studies, he completed internships at two law firms, where he developed his interest in intellectual property, privacy, and ICT.
Ruben is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), a protected title awarded by the International Association for Privacy Professionals, recognized as the European standard for privacy and data protection.
Ruben is result-oriented, eager to learn, and has a broad perspective, enabling him to identify the core of an issue and find a suitable solution.
