Louise van de Mortel

Louise is a lawyer in Holla legal & tax’s Corporate Law team, specialising in Corporate & Commercial Litigation. As a litigation lawyer, she handles a wide range of commercial disputes, including conflicts concerning the interpretation, performance or termination of commercial contracts, directors’ liability and post-M&A disputes.

Louise works closely with her clients when structuring and drafting contracts, with a view to preventing disputes wherever possible. If a conflict does arise, she first explores whether the parties can reach a solution through negotiation. If proceedings are unavoidable, she represents her clients throughout the entire process.

Louise has been a lawyer at Holla since 2021. During her first years at the firm, she gained experience in the Intellectual Property, IT & Privacy team, where she worked on matters involving trade names, trademarks, designs and copyright, as well as advertising law and commercial contracts. This broad background is valuable both when drafting commercial contracts and when handling commercial disputes.
