Louise van de Mortel
Louise has been working as a lawyer in the Intellectual Property, IT & Privacy team of Holla legal & tax since 2021. She advises, contracts and litigates on matters regarding trade name, trademark, design and copyright law issues, advertising law and commercial contracts.
During her studies Louise worked as an intern for an IP boutique law firm in Amsterdam and for a leading international trademark office. In these internships she gained practical experience in (international) IP law, advertising law, media law and privacy law. She then worked as a paralegal Online Brand Protection at the same trademark office. In this position, she focused on the enforcement of trademark rights and copyrights on social media, in domain names and on online marketplaces. Her clients were large international corporations.
As a lawyer, Louise is creative and passionate, but she is also focused and speaks plainly. Colleagues enjoy working with her and she will go through fire and water for her clients. Because of her inquisitive nature she will always look for the best possible solution, nor matter how complicated a matter is. And that is where her creativity comes in handy, if something does not work one way, then she will try another.
