Kaila van Es

Kaila has been working at Holla legal & tax since September 2026 as part of the Intellectual Property, IT & Privacy team. Within this team, she primarily focuses on advising clients, drafting and negotiating contracts, and handling litigation involving trade names, trademarks, designs and copyright. Kaila also advises on advertising law, including regulations relating to the advertising of medicinal products.

During her studies at Radboud University in Nijmegen, Kaila gained practical experience at a medium-sized law firm, where she completed an internship with the Intellectual Property, IT & Commercial Contracts team.

Kaila combines strong analytical skills with an approachable manner. She enjoys delving into complex legal matters and applies her accurate and structured way of working to find practical solutions. Clear communication is always key. With her friendly personality, enthusiastic approach and positive attitude, she guides clients in an approachable and committed manner. She does not shy away from challenges. On the contrary, complex matters motivate her to delve deeper into the issues at hand and work together with the client to achieve the best possible outcome.
