Holla advises on launching of Huboo business in the Netherlands

Huboo was advised by Holla on its entry on the European market. Founded in 2017, Huboo was created by e-commerce sellers for e-commerce sellers and helps businesses grow by taking care of all their fulfilment needs. It is the fastest growing e-commerce fulfilment company in the UK and has now set its sights on continental Europe. Because of its easy accessibility and business climate, Huboo has chosen the Netherlands as its first foothold in Europe.

Holla advised Huboo on all legal aspects of setting up business in the Netherlands and coordinated all the legal workstreams related to incorporation of the Dutch legal entity, employment, tax and real estate.

The Holla team consisted of corporate partner Robert van Muijen, alongside associate Malou Siebers.

Peter Edgar, CFO of Huboo: “Robert and the team at Holla did excellent work supporting us on our entry on the Dutch market. We valued their integrated expertise and their efficiency and look forward to working with them on further expanding our business.”

Robert van Muijen, partner at Holla, says: “In the wake of Brexit we are experiencing an influx of UK companies. It was a pleasure working with and assisting Huboo and this is a good example of the opportunities available to UK businesses to set up business in the Netherlands as a gateway to Europe.”

If you are a UK company looking for a gateway into the EU under new third country regulations, then establishing a subsidiary in the Netherlands is a
