Pieter Ballings joined Holla legal & tax in March 2020 and is a member of the Intellectual Property & ICT team. Pieter’s activities in this team include advising and litigating in the field of intellectual property law. This includes issues relating to copyright and trademark law. Pieter is also specialised in the legal aspects of I(C)T. Within this expertise, he deals with all possible variants and implementations of I(C)T contracts.

Pieter completed his master’s degree in Law & Technology at Tilburg University, and he also studied at the University of Minnesota Law School in the United States. Before joining Holla Advocaten, Pieter worked as a lawyer in Amsterdam for more than four years, this is where he gained extensive experience in advising and litigating for various (international) companies in the field of Intellectual Property and ICT. Pieter is an Intellectual Property and ICT enthusiast, who aims to keep up to date and educated. That is why he is currently following the Information Law specialisation course at Grotius Academy.

From an early age, Pieter has always had a great sense of justice. His choice to study law and become a lawyer was therefore an obvious one.
