Harald is a member of the team of government specialists at Holla legal & tax. He focuses on environmental law, energy law, procurement law and government liability. Harald joined Holla in January 2019 after having worked at an international law firm in Amsterdam and Rotterdam for nine years. Since 2018, Harald has been recognised as an expert in ‘Environmental Law’ and ‘Climate Change Law’ every year by Who’s Who Legal. In 2016, Advocatenblad named him as one of 35 ‘high-flying’ lawyers under the age of 35.
Haralds clients include companies and (semi-) governmental bodies. He advises on zoning plans, permits, noise and air quality, soil, nature, water law, enforcement, expropriation, rights of way and public participation. In the field of energy law, he advises his clients on electricity, gas and heat supply and production, energy storage, wind farms, solar parks, cables, and pipelines. Harald advises bidders and contracting authorities and assists them in procurement procedures.
Harald always puts his clients interests first. A personal and accessible approach is paramount to him. Harald has broad social and legal interests, which he inherited from his Dutch-Peruvian descent and from a long tradition of lawyers within his Peruvian family.
